Second person charged in connection with buy and sell thefts in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a second individual after four buy-and-sell theft incidents in the Doon area of Kitchener.
According to police an 18-year-old Kitchener man was arrested and charged Tuesday and is facing numerous charges that include:
- Robbery (two counts)
- Theft under $5,000 (three counts)
- Administer noxious substance (two counts)
- Breach court order (two counts)
They were then held for a bail hearing.
In one of the thefts, the suspects sprayed the victim with noxious substance and fled, leaving the individual with non-life-threatening injuries.
Tuesday’s second arrest follows a previous arrest on Monday when a 19-year-old Kitchener man was charged with:
- Possession of stolen property under $5,000
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Robbery (two counts)
- Theft under $5,000 (two counts)
