Guelph police investigating Halloween party stabbing

An investigation is ongoing after a stabbing at a Halloween party in Guelph Saturday night.

The incident occurred just before 11 p.m. in the area of Stone Road East and Watson Parkway South.

Guelph police said they received a call of a disturbance involving several men outside a home in that area.

The victim, an 18-year-old from Brampton was stabbed in the leg attempting to diffuse the situation. He was transported to hospital for treatment of a minor injury.

According to witnesses descriptions, all individuals involved in the altercation were wearing construction worker costumes.
