Guelph man killed following collision in Palmerston

A driver from Guelph has died, following a crash in the Town of Minto.

According to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), initial reports show a red minivan struck a tree on Wellington Road 123.

It happened around 6 a.m. Thursday morning.

The 40-year-old from Guelph, behind the wheel of the minivan, died in hospital.

The investigation is ongoing, with OPP asking anyone with information to come forward.
