Kitchener Panthers face London Majors in first round playoff series

The Kitchener Panthers begin their first round playoff series against the London Majors on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
Kitchener is the 2nd seed after finishing the regular season with a 26-15 record. They went 4-2 against London during the season.
London struggled to a record of 17-25, however they won their final four games of the season. The Majors also are the two-time Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) defending champions.
This is a best-of-five game series with the winner moving onto the semi-finals.
Kitchener has won 13 IBL championships, however their last one came in 2001.
The schedule for the series is below:
- Game 1 – London @ Kitchener – Thursday, Aug. 24 at 7:30 p.m.
- Game 2 – Kitchener @ London – Friday, Aug. 25 at 7:35 p.m.
- Game 3 – London @ Kitchener – Sunday, Aug. 27 at 2 p.m.
- Game 4 – Kitchener @ London – Tuesday, Aug. 29 at 7:35 p.m. *If Necessary
- Game 5 – London @ Kitchener – Wednesday, Aug. 30 at 7:30 p.m. *If Necessary
