Police arrest Waterloo woman after impaired driving report

Regional Police have arrested a Waterloo woman after reports of a possibly impaired driver.
It happened just after midnight on Sunday on Meadowvale Road in Waterloo.
A traffic stop was conducted on a black GMC and officers formed grounds to arrest the woman for impaired driving.
The driver attempted to flee and drove into and reversed into stationary police vehicles.
She was then arrested and no physical injuries were reported due to the incident.
The 39-year-old was charged with several offences including dangerous operation, flight from police, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
She was held for a bail hearing.
