Young driver crashes car into Cambridge apartment building

Several Cambridge residents had to find somewhere else to sleep last night after a car crashed into the side of an apartment building in the South Galt area.

Officers from Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Neighbourhood Policing South Division said that around 8 o’clock last night, a young driver lost control of the vehicle, and crashed into a building near Christopher Drive and Champlain Boulevard.

It took all night to remove the vehicle and make sure the building itself was safe to live in. Some residents were displaced for the night.

Police added that nobody was physically injured.
