Drayton Entertainment receives $370K in federal funding

By CityNews Kitchener Staff

The federal government is providing over $370,000 to Drayton Entertainment.

The funding is from the Tourism Relief Fund.

Cambridge MP Bryan May made the announcement Thursday, on behalf of the Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario).

Drayton Entertainment says the funding will support facility upgrades, plus additional live theatre productions, which will allow Drayton to undertake the activities necessary to deliver an audience rebuilding strategy.

FedDev Ontario is distributing close to $120 million in tourism relief funding across southern Ontario.
