Man arrested after sexual assault investigation involving minor
A man has been charged with sexual assault and sexual exploitation in connection to an investigation involving a child and a youth worker at a Cambridge high school.
On Feb. 11, Waterloo Regional Police Youth Protection Unit received a report of a sexual assault involving a minor, according to a news release. The youth reported being sexually assaulted at a residence by a known adult.
As a result of a joint investigation by police and Family and Children Services of Waterloo Region, a man was arrested on Feb. 16.

A 49-year-old Kitchener man is scheduled to appear in court on March 14.
