Abandoned farmhouse completely destroyed by fire in North Dumfries

No one was injured during a structure fire in the Township of North Dumfries.

On Feb. 11, 2023, at 3:45 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a structure fire near Alps Road and Reidsville Road.

The structure was determined to be an abandoned farmhouse with no utilities. The building was completely destroyed by the fire.

There were no physical injuries reported as a result of the incident.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
