Noxious substance sprayed during Kitchener disturbance, injuring two

Police have made an arrest after responding to a disturbance in Kitchener. 

On Feb. 3, at 8:40 p.m., police responded to an altercation at a residential building near Sheldon Avenue North and King Street East after a noxious substance was sprayed. 

Police located two victims who had been sprayed, both of which suffered minor physical injuries and were treated on the scene. 

Following an investigation, police arrested a 26-year-old Waterloo woman.

She was charged with two counts of assault with a weapon. 

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on March 22, 2023.
