Grand River Hospital warns of increased ED wait times Friday

Grand River Hospital warned of prolonged wait times in its emergency department on Friday.

A notice on the hospital's website said it was experiencing a high number of patients seeking care.

Individuals are being prioritized based on their needs and the public is advised to expect longer-than-usual wait times if their issue isn't urgent.

The hospital also asked for patience and kindness towards staff during this busy time.

If your matter isn't an emergency, you're asked to seek alternative care options if you're able to.
