Three Brampton residents charged in second Waterloo robbery

Three Brampton residents have been charged in connection with a pharmacy robbery in Waterloo from earlier this week.

It happened the evening of December 7, in the area of Woolwich Street and Falconridge Drive.

Waterloo Regional Police say the suspects were located and arrested with assistance from the Peel Regional Police Central Robbery Bureau.

One suspect was arrested after a short foot pursuit. A second suspect was arrested with help from the canine unit. The third suspect attempted to flee the business in a stolen vehicle, but collided with an unmarked police vehicle and was also arrested.

Officers seized a loaded firearm and suspected cocaine from inside the vehicle.

Two 18-year-old men face charges including robbery with theft, disguise with intent and possession of suspected cocaine.

A youth was also charged with robbery with theft, disguise with intent, possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition and possession of suspected cocaine.

All were held for a bail hearing.

Police also linked the suspects to a pharmacy robbery in Waterloo on November 25.
