Police investigate fatal crash in Shellard Side, Old Beverly Road area (update)
Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate after a fatal collision on Thursday afternoon.
It happened in the Shellard Side Road and Old Beverly Road area near the Cambridge-North Dumfries boundary around 12:30 p.m.
Police said a dump truck and a car collided. Both the driver and passenger in the car were pronounced dead at the scene.

The victims have been identified as a 76-year-old woman from Middlesex County and a 78-year-old woman from Elgin County.
The alleged driver of the dump truck, a 42-year-old Burlington man, was not injured.
Anyone who witnessed the crash, including those with dash cam video, are asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
