Construction expected to cause delays on Hespeler Road Wednesday

A bit of a construction headache for motorists in Cambridge Wednesday.

Waterloo Regional Police say there will be rolling road closures at the intersection of Hespeler Road and Avenue Road for construction.

Those closures will last for around five minutes at a time, but continue throughout the day. They started at 7 a.m. and will last until 6 p.m.

The road reconstruction project through that stretch started in late August and is expected to wrap up on September 23.
