Remembering former talk show host Jeff Allan

Sad news from the media industry and it's hitting close to home.

Jeff Allan, a former 570 NEWS (now CityNews 570) talk show host, passed away over the weekend.

Allan had been battling ALS.

Tributes are pouring in, including from former station program director, Don Kollins, who called Allan — “one of the absolute best”.

“Jeff was amazing to have on our team … would do anything to drive the competition crazy,” Kollins added.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
