St. Agatha resident celebrating $100K lotto win

Theresa Grant is glad she spent the extra $1 and played Encore.
The St. Agatha resident matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in order to win $100,000 in the Daily Grand draw on June 27.
And it isn't her first big lottery win. The 81-year-old mother and grandmother won over $200,000 in 1998 with Superstar Bingo and $27,000 with The Link.
“I play twice a week. “I checked my ticket at the casino,and I just stood there in disbelief,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. “I checked it three more times to make sure my eyes were working properly!”
She plans to pay off her home with her win. “I hope everyone can experience this magical moment,” Grant said smiling.
She purchased the winning ticket at Sobeys on Columbia Street in Waterloo.
