Councillors approve design for improved Preston Memorial Auditorium

The new and improved Preston Memorial Auditorium is getting another check mark for the project.

Cambridge City Council has voted to approve the overall design for the renovation and expansion of the Preston Aud.

It comes with a $29-million price tag and the work should be complete in 2025.

The updates include a new NHL size ice rink, additional seating, improved changerooms and washrooms, and multipurpose and office space.

The next step involves getting detailed designs in and tendering for the project.
