Report of gun shots in downtown Kitchener being investigated by police

Regional police are looking into a report of gun shots in downtown Kitchener.
It was reported in the area of Gaukel and Ontario Street, around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
A witness told police they heard gun shots while in the area.
No one was injured.
