Laurier confirms death of international student (update)

Wilfrid Laurier University has confirmed the death of an international student reported missing.
Stephen Lyndon was a 23-year-old student from England, studying in the Faculty of Arts.
On Monday, the university said they were aware of police and social media posts regarding the student.
Regional police confirmed Tuesday morning they were no longer looking for Lyndon.
“We are shocked and heartbroken for Stephen, for his family, and for his friends,” said Ivan Joseph, vice-president, Student Affairs. “This is a tragic and unexpected loss that will be felt by many.”
The university said the Dean of Students has been in contact with Lyndon's family, and funeral arrangements will be released when available.
