Arrest made after graffiti incident in Kitchener

Police have made an arrest following a graffiti incident in downtown Kitchener.

It happened early Tuesday morning in the area of King Street East and Benton Street.

Officers were doing proactive enforcement in the area, when they observed a woman allegedly painting the exterior wall of a business.

A 39-year-old Waterloo woman has been charged with mischief under $5,000.
