District Nightclub in Kitchener to close down

District Nightclub in Kitchener is closing its doors after over six years in business.
In a Facebook post, the club said “District Nightclub opened its doors for the first time with one goal…to build a family. Unfortunately, we now must say goodbye. While we are sad to say goodbye, we are proud to say that we achieved our goal.”
The nightclub first opened May 1, 2015.
They want to thank every team member that joined their family over the years.
According to the post, their building has been sold and will soon be replaced by something new.
