Power outage in Hespeler

Hespeler is experiencing a power outage affecting approximately 106 residents.

Crews have been dispatched, and power is expected to be restored by 6:30 p.m. today.

According to local officials, the outage was caused by a collision in Hespeler. A tractor trailer drove off the road, striking several hydro poles.

Queen Street West from Shepherd Avenue to Weaver Street will also be closed for a “significant” amount of time.
