Farwell4Hire campaign is getting close to wrapping up for another year

By Lisa Drew

The host of the Mike Farwell Show on 570 NEWS has spent the month raising funds for Cystic Fibrosis research.

It has kept him busy with outdoor projects during this pandemic. He says “It's all outdoor work. I have weeded more gardens and washed more windows than I have in the many, many years of this campaign.”

Farwell says they had a huge week leading into and over the long weekend.

Last year, the Farwell4Hire campaign went over two months and raised $160,000.

He says it's possible they might hit that mark again as they hit the campaign end on June 6th.

Farwell says “May will have 37 days in it this year…”

He says stay tuned for more in the first week of June thanks to Barrie's Asparagus, Ignite Group of Restaurants and Block Three Brewery.

The Rangers Reach 50-50 draw in support of Farwell4Hire now sits at over $43,000.
