Remember 9:29, celebrating the legacy of George Floyd

Celebrating the legacy of George Floyd, Remember 9:29 features an ensemble of Black Canadians coming together to share their real life perspectives on the Black experience.

The George Floyd Memorial Foundation honours George Floyd’s legacy by uniting and activating our communities to challenge the root causes of racial inequity and end the systemic violence affecting Black Americans.

The Black Solidarity Fund includes more than 70 charities supporting Black Canadians by advancing social services, economic opportunities, mental health supports, advocacy efforts, and access to education, as well as preserving and celebrating Black art, heritage, and culture and their immense contribution to Canada.

The video was produced and directed by Tier Zero and the poem is by Chris Kaputo.
