Today is International Day of Pink

You might see some more people wearing pink today.

It's the International Day of Pink, marked on the second Wednesday of April each year to show support and solidarity with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, to continue fighting for equality and acceptance.

It was started in Nova Scotia, when two straight high school students saw a gay student wearing a pink shirt being bullied.
