Cambridge mayor’s son has passed away

Cambridge Mayor Kathryn McGarry and her family are mourning the loss of her 36-year-old son.
Geordie McGarry died Monday, February 15, of complications from epilepsy.
“Geordie loved cooking, food and helping people. If you are looking for a way to honour him please consider making a donation to your local food bank.” Kathryn McGarry wrote on social media.
A visitation will be held Sunday – and will abide by COVID protocols – and then a private funeral service will be held for family.
She is also thanking the community for their messages of support, along with sharing memories of Geordie.
