13 local companies among Canada’s fastest growing

There are no shortage of local companies on Canadian Business's Growth List for 2020.

The publication says the over 400 firms that were ranked are the most passionate, innovative and successful businesses in the country.

Kitchener's Ahava Digital Group (marketing and media) was the best of the bunch in Waterloo Region, taking over 12th spot, with five-year growth of over 8,200 per cent.

Below are the other local companies that made the Growth List:

30. Kitchener's Bonfire Interactive (software) – five-year growth over 2,800 per cent
44. Waterloo's ThinkLP (software) – 1,961 per cent
48. Kitchener's Voltera (manufacturing) – 1,841 per cent
74. Waterloo's Maerospace (information technology – 1,234 per cent
171. Kitchener's KW Signs (manufacturing) – 460 per cent
188. Wellesley's T&T Power Group (energy) – 407 per cent
201. Kitchener's CareHawk (manufacturing) – 368 per cent
221. Kitchener's Woodhouse Construction Group (construction) – 336 per cent
266. Waterloo's Keyspire (consumer services) – 255 per cent
277. Kitchener's Diva International (manufacturing) – 232 per cent
281. Cambridge's Eclipse Automation (manufacturing) – 223 per cent
399. Kitchener's AET Group (professional services) – 74 per cent

    
Marlin Spring, a Toronto real estate developer, took the top spot with growth of over 58,000 per cent.

In addition to the Growth List, Canadian Business also released a Startup List, in which two local companies were ranked.

Pinnacle Logistics Solutions of Cambridge took third spot (over 8,200 per cent growth), and Kitchener's Rapid Novor was 65th (294 per cent).
