Sir John A. MacDonald statue vandalized in Baden

A statue of Sir John A. MacDonald has been vandalized in Baden.

It happened between Saturday and Sunday along Snyder's Road West.

According to resident Ron Taves, the statue was discovered to be covered in red paint early this morning.

The statue has been covered with a tarp and has remained covered since.

Regional police are investigating the incident and are asking for anyone with information to contact them.
