Select Beer Store locations to collect empties again

The Beer Store will start collecting empties again as of Monday, April 6.
But it will only be at select locations.
The locations in Waterloo Region are:
- 1255 Weber St. E. in Kitchener
- 70 Weber St. N. in Waterloo
- 200 Franklin Blvd. in Cambridge
The Beer Store says resuming the recycling program at only a select number of outlets will ensure they have substantial quantities of personal protective equipment (PPE), along with safeguarding the operational maintenance of social distancing within the stores.
The locations will modify hours to 10am-4pm Monday through Saturday, and regular operating hours on Sunday.
An employee at the Highland store in Kitchener recently tested positive for COVID-19.
The employee last worked at that location on March 14.
