Bans lifted for overnight parking in Kitchener, Waterloo (update)

Overnight parking in Kitchener won't land you a ticket for now.
Mayor Berry Vrbanovic has announced that overnight parking bylaws and three-hour parking bylaws will not be enforced until April 6.
This comes as many in the community are staying home amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
Waterloo is also doing the same:
“Bylaw officers will not enforce overnight parking regulations or on-street time limits during this period. Safety issues such as parking on fire routes will be enforced as needed.” read a statement.
