Police seize drugs and prohibited weapon from Cambridge residence

On Thursday, January 23, 2020, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Drugs and Firearms Team, with the assistance of the Emergency Response Unit, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Walter Street in Cambridge.

Police seized quantities of suspected fentanyl and cocaine, which were located within the residence.

Police also seized a prohibited weapon and drug paraphernalia.

As a result of the investigation, a 40-year-old Cambridge male was charged with a variety of Controlled Drugs and Substances Act charges, and Criminal Code charges.
