Fall is here, and that means you'll need to dust off your rake soon.
While the City of Waterloo can't help you with that task – it has announced its loose leaf collection will begin on October 28.
They'll start by hitting areas with saplings, and then continue to neighbourhoods with more mature trees.
Anyone living near bike lanes is asked to place the leaves as close to the curb as possible, in order to keep the bike lanes clear.
If you live in Cambridge or Kitchener, loose leaf collection pick-up begins November 12, while drop off locations open in Kitchener on October 18.
Residents in Waterloo Region can also bag their leaves for biweekly yard waste collection.
