Police searching for suspects after home invasion in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police are reminding the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity after a terrifying encounter in Kitchener.

Police received reports of a home invasion in the Huron Road and Battler Road area early Wednesday morning around 2:40 a.m. 

Two armed males allegedly forced their way into a home, and one discharged a firearm.

The suspects fled the scene and there were no injuries.

Police are actively investigating the incident and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

The first suspect is described as being a young black male, around 5 foot 10, with a skinny build.

The second suspect is described as being a young black male, around 6 foot 2, with a skinny build.
