Lockdown lifted at Jacob Hespeler

A lockdown has been lifted at Jacob Hespeler Secondary School in Cambridge.

It was in place early Tuesday afternoon.

The school board says they did so as a precaution, as the school received an email that was threatening in nature.

Students are safe and are being dismissed.

Centennial Public School was also put under a hold and secure due to the police activity at Jacob Hespeler.

It has been lifted as well.
