More snow expected overnight

According to Environment Canada meteorologist, Mitch Meredith, Waterloo Region could be hit with 2 to 4 cm of snow Monday night.
He says it may start out as rain mixed with snow, but should turn to snow by midnight as temperatures dropped to zero.
Meredith warns of that it may not be a lot of snow, it is still enough to create icy road conditions. He notes the precipitation will move on in the morning.
“Fairly early in the morning, probably in the 6 to 7 a.m. time range, the precipitation due to end as the wind shifts and the bulk of the snow moves eastward and then we're left with a pretty chilly day,” he said.
Tuesday will still see flurries later that night and Wednesday morning. Snow is expected to stay around for a few days.
A more mild system is expected to come in on Friday with rain.
