Three-year-old boy dies after fire on Six Nations

A three-year-old boy has died following a Six Nations house fire near Ohsweken.
Six Nations police responded to the call on the Grand River Territory just before 1 p.m. on Friday.
The boy was rescued from the home and rushed to hospital, where he died of his injuries.
The victim’s name is not being released at the request of the family.
Officials say at least six other children were also taken to the hospital.
It’s unclear what caused the fire. The Ontario Fire Marshal has been notified.
