Police issue warning to people living in Deer Ridge area of Kitchener after string of break-ins

Regional Police are issuing a warning to homeowners in the Deer Ridge area of Kitchener after a spree of break and enters.

Seven homes have been broken into while people were out during the day between October 16, and November 19, 2017.

Each break-in happened between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Police say they believe the suspect rings the front door bell to determine if anyone is home, and then sneaks into the back of the home through a back door.
