Fog advisory ends for Waterloo Region and surrounding areas

A fog advisory has now ended for Waterloo Region and our surrounding areas.

Environment Canada was warning of near zero visibility in some areas Sunday morning, after dense fog formed overnight.

Travel was considered hazardous due to the reduced visibility in some locations, and the foggy conditions resulted in all morning flights out of the Region of Waterloo International Airport being cancelled.

Evening arrivals and departures at the airport are currently on schedule.
