Armed robbery at Dollarama in Waterloo

Regional Police are on the hunt for a suspect after an armed robbery at a Dollarama in Waterloo.
They say it happened Tuesday around 9:25 p.m. at the store on Laurelwood Drive.
A man entered the store armed with a handgun, and demanded that staff hand over cash from the register.
He took off shortly after, and luckily, staff wasn’t injured in the incident.
Police say the man is described as white, in his late 20s to early 30s, around five foot eight, with broad shoulders.
He had his face covered with a dark-coloured scarf or neck warmer, and was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, black jeans, and an olive green SOG backpack.
