Week 2 of faculty strike: Conestoga students planning rally

Students at Conestoga College plan to rally at Queen’s Park next Wednesday.
The College Student Alliance is organizing the event on November 1st and are asking students from Ontario’s other colleges to join them.
A faculty strike entered week two on Monday, with no new talks planned. OPSEU is looking for better job security and input into academic procedures at the colleges.
Members of the College Student Alliance have also sent letters to local MPP’s, encouraging a continued conversation towards a strike resolution.
There is no impact to classes this week, as students are off for reading week.
