Teen airlifted to hospital after crash in Cambridge

A 14-year-old Cambridge boy was airlifted to hospital after a bicycle crash.

It happened Tuesday on Bruce Street.

Waterloo Regional Police say the boy was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, and many of his injuries could have been prevented if he was wearing a helmet.

The boy was transferred to a hospital in Hamilton, the extent of his injuries are unknown.
