The Humane Society and the Ontario SPCA are making an appeal for information after four young cats were thrown from a moving vehicle in Guelph this week.
The Guelph Humane Society says it happened Tuesday afternoon on Wellington County Road 32 near Speedvale Avenue.
The five-month-old cats were tossed from the vehicle, but luckily, a passerby spotted the incident and rescued the animals.
The kittens were taken to the Guelph Humane Society, where they are said to be in good condition.
“The young cats are now being monitored closely in foster care. We are looking for the public’s assistance to help find the person or people who did this,” says OSPCA Agent Megan Swan in a release.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Guelph Humane Society at 519-824-3091 or the OSPCA at 310-7722.
