Talks back on to end strike at CAMI

Talks have resumed in an effort to end a strike by over 2,000 workers at the CAMI plant in Ingersoll.
Wednesday marks day nine of the work stoppage.
Unifor Local 88 said in a news release, its’ representatives met with General Motors officials on Tuesday.
The union added some progress has been made on the package it presented to GM on Sunday.
Meantime, the strike has impacted area parts makers.
On the weekend, Tenneco in Cambridge had to issue temporary layoff notices to about 100 workers.
