THEMUSEUM gets $1 million donation from someone inside the building

THEMUSEUM in downtown Kitchener has been gifted by its’ CEO.
David Marskell and his family have put up the $1 million donation. They were able to do so in memory of his parents, through the sale of a church property they owned in Mississauga.
“You know, you donate from time to time, but to really make a meaningful gift to this community, it’s pretty amazing.” an emotional Marskell told 570 NEWS on Wednesday morning.
He says THE MUSEUM continues to struggle for sustainability, adding these funds will help them take another step towards that.
Marskell is also encouraging the community to match the donation.
THEMUSEUM will mark 15 years in downtown Kitchener in 2018.
