Local police officers will shave their heads for a good cause today at the annual ‘Cops for Cancer’ event in Cambridge, Saturday.
The event raises money for the Canadian Cancer Society, and runs from 10 a.m., until 2 p.m., at Police Headquarters on Maple Grove Road.
It’ll include a BBQ, silent auction, kid’s activities and more.
The money raised from this year’s event will go specifically towards childhood cancer research, as September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
