Police were asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man in Mount Forest.
On Tuesday, OPP received a call about a found dog on a trail near Birmingham Street East and Church Street, but no owner around. A witness says he recognized the dog, but did not know the owner’s name.
Officers canvassed the area, but did not found the man or identified who he is.
Just after 3 p.m. on Wednesday, OPP say they located the owner safe and sound. He is in good health, and is in the process of being reunited with his dog.
