A crash in North Dumfries closed Dickie Settlement Road between Whistle Bear and Fountain Street Sunday night, through to Monday morning.

Regional Police responded to the call around 11:30 p.m Sunday night.

They found a black car had left the road, struck a large decorative rock and rolled over.

The driver, a 33-year-old Oakville man, was taken to Cambridge Memorial with non-life threatening injuries, and is now facing charges for Impaired Driving, Refusing a Breath Sample, and Dangerous Driving.
