Parking in Uptown Waterloo is going hi tech

Waterloo is going hi tech when it comes to parking in the Uptown.
Starting on September 1st, you will be able to use the Honk Mobile app to buy additional time once your two free hours have expired.
Waterloo Mayor Dave Jaworsky says it also means more places to park.
“We’ll have ten times as many spots as we do today… I think that just gives people more choice and more reason to come to Uptown Waterloo.”
Jaworsky says the app is already being used at Wilfrid Laurier University and Conestoga College.
