‘True Canadian’ Mike Farwell recognized by Molson, awarded iconic fridge

It’s a good day for 570’s Mike Farwell.
Our talk show host was recognized by Molson Canadian for demonstrating ‘true Canadian character’, and was awarded a personalized version of the iconic Red Beer Fridge.
Farwell was nominated by a member of our community for Molson’s #ATasteOfWhoWeAreCampaign.
He is known throughout our community as being a radio personality, but also for his amazing fundraising campaign ‘Farwell 4 Hire’– which raises thousands of dollars every year for Cystic Fibrosis research.
Mike received his brand new fridge on Friday afternoon, just in time for Canada’s 150th birthday.
