OPP officers in Wellington County have arrested a 71-year-old man for allegedly firing a pellet gun at a moving vehicle.
Police say they received a call about shots fired yesterday afternoon on Sideroad 15 near Fergus.
When they got there, they found one vehicle with damage to its passenger mirror and door.
Officers tracked the suspected shooter back to St. Andrews Street in Fergus.
They say William Emburgh of Arthur was arrested, but not before damage was done to a marked police cruiser and the suspect’s vehicle.
Emburgh faces charges including pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon, and assault with a weapon.
